Nagpur NEET Student Assigned Abu Dhabi Exam Centre

A NEET-UG 2026 aspirant from Nagpur was left stunned after discovering that his examination centre for the upcoming re-examination had been allotted in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The student, Abdullah Mohammad Talib, received his admit card and was surprised to find that he had been assigned a centre thousands of kilometres away from his hometown. According to his family, the student does not even possess a passport, making it impossible for him to travel abroad and appear for the examination.
The incident quickly gained attention, with the family approaching authorities and demanding an immediate correction. They expressed concern that such an error could jeopardize the student's future and create unnecessary stress just before an important examination.
In response, the National Testing Agency (NTA) acknowledged that the issue was caused by a technical glitch during the centre allotment process. Officials assured the family that corrective action would be taken and that a revised admit card with an appropriate examination centre would be issued.
The incident has sparked discussions about the accuracy of examination administration systems and the need for stronger verification measures to prevent similar errors in the future.
